Last year, when typhoon Lando hit the Philippines, a total of 1, 570 families were affected by landslides and flooding in Cordillera according to the report provided by NDRRMC-CAR. With the initiative of Goshen Land CEO Atty. Alexander Bangsoy, a Cordilleran Binnadang fund drive was raised to provide relief goods and roofing to some families in Baguio, Benguet, Itogon, and as far as Kalinga. Cordillerans from here and abroad and even non-cordillerans responded to our call for Cordilleran Binnadang to provide aid to the typhoon victims. In Baguio, one of the heavily affected areas was City Camp Central. One of the families who benefitted from our Cordilleran Binnadang was the Cariño family in City Camp Central.
